Tom’s career has predominantly been in the accounting and technology sector. Whilst working as an accountant, in his younger years, Tom studied AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), so can fully sympathise with business owners and understand the issues they are currently facing.

Having worked directly for Pegasus Software Ltd, and as a Pegasus Consultant at a well-known reseller, Tom has extensive knowledge when it comes to implementing and supporting accounts software.

Tom has worked at Monpellier for almost 13 years and is responsible for consulting clients, diagnosing their business problems and recommending the best possible solution mix.

After successfully graduating from York University with a degree in mathematics, Ray became a Trainee Chartered Accountant at a local accounting firm for three years, which gave him a great understanding of business finance and the importance of efficient accounts.

He was then offered a job in the firm’s internal IT department after showing a keen interest in computers, which weren’t very common in those days!

He has a wealth of experience when it comes to business technology solutions and an extensive knowledge of IT systems. Ray founded Monpellier in 2002 and is now responsible for the day to day running of the business, but also enjoys getting involved in client accounts and providing support.
